It all started with one overwhelmed mom and a Christmas list longer than her patience. After buying gifts for 20+ people, she was exhausted.
Not long after came her best friend's birthday. She wanted the gift to be perfect, but after five stores and two meltdowns later, she still wasn't sure she got it right.
That was the last straw... and thus Hello Kado was born: A ridiculously easy wishlist that's thoughtful, fun, and drama-free.

Do I buy gifts directly through Hello Kado?
Nope. We just link you to the right place. You buy it there.
Is my information private?
Absolutely.
Hello Kado never shares or sells your data.
Adding important dates like birthdays is completely optional, and if you do share, we never show the year.
We don't collect addresses since gifts aren't bought through our site.
By default, only friends you connect with on Hello Kado can see your profile and wishlists.
How do gift reservations work?
When someone reserves a gift from your wishlist, it's marked as reserved so others know it's been claimed. You'll be notified when someone reserves an item.
If someone removes an item you've reserved, you'll be notified so you can choose a different gift or coordinate directly.
What makes Hello Kado different from other gift registry sites?
Most registries focus on one big event. Hello Kado is for every occasion: birthdays, holidays, housewarmings, new jobs, even moments of sympathy. With wishlists and profiles, everything lives in one place — no more scattered registries, lost links, or extra hassle.

Nope! They can see your profile with a link you share. Only needed if they want to receive gifts too 😉.
What if I don't add any wishlists?
That's fine! Your profile still shares your preferences—like favorite colors, foods, or florists. This way, friends have thoughtful guidance even without a wishlist.
Can I make a wishlist for my kids or pets?
Absolutely. You can create a wishlist on your profile, like "William's 6th Birthday" or "Bella's Barkday." It's a simple way to gather gift ideas for the little ones (human or furry). For adults, we recommend they create their own profile so their preferences really feel like them.
